Volunteer w/Lansing Food Drop
The goal of this project is to “be” the hands and feet of Christ to nearly 3,000 families in need throughout the Greater Lansing Area. As volunteers deliver food boxes, they’ll offer a prayer of blessing in a gentle and respectful way and leave and invitation to visit one of the participating churches. We trust that people will see God’s love working through each volunteer and He will open up opportunities s to tell them about Christ. Let’s put our “Love in Action!” and see what God does through us.
The Churches of Greater Lansing are looking for over 1,000 volunteers to help with this project on Feb. 25 beginning at 11 am at Holt High School and then traveling throughout the greater Lansing area as volunteers deliver food boxes to those in need. Smile FM will be on hand to help celebrate this amazing project and we encourage our Lansing area listeners to step up and volunteer along side us, delivering food to some of Lansing's less fortunate. The Diceman's clothes basket
Faron and his wife received this as a wedding present 25 years ago, and it’s lasted all of these years. So has the marriage! But there is one small crack now (in the clothes basket, not the marriage, ok!)
