You must go to church
Current worship attendance is also linked to parental religious involvement. When someone grows up with both a mother and a father attending religious services at least occasionally, there is a 62% chance that individual is now regularly attending services as an adult. When someone grows up with only one parent attending services at least occasionally, there is a 50% chance he or she is now attending worship regularly. But when an individual grows up with neither parent regularly attending religious worship services, there is only a 33% chance that person is now regularly attending religious services
Faron's fav quotes
Quote #1
Do all the good you can
By all the means you can
In on the ways you can
In all the places you can
At all the times you can
To all the people you can
As long as you can

Happy 4th of July
Smile FM wishes you and your family a safe and happy fourth of July! Find local community firework displays.
Happiest Countries???
One of Jenn's Favorite Recipies
2 tsp olive oil
1 pound uncooked boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 tsp dried thyme, or 2 tbsp fresh minced thyme, or to taste
1/2 tsp table salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
3 medium garlic clove(s), minced, or more to taste
2 cup broccoli, florets
1 1/2 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth, divided
1 1/2 Tbsp cornstarch
2 cup cooked brown rice, kept hot
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place chicken on a plate and season with thyme, salt and pepper. Add garlic to skillet and cook, stirring, 1 minute. Add chicken to skillet and cook until browned on all sides, stirring frequently, about 3 minutes.
Add broccoli to skillet, cover and cook 2 minutes. Add 1 cup of broth, cover and simmer until chicken is cooked through, about 5 minutes.
In a cup, dissolve cornstarch in remaining 1/2 cup of broth; add to skillet. Simmer until mixture thickens, stirring constantly, about 1 minute; serve over rice. Yields about 1 cup of chicken and broccoli and 1/2 cup of rice per serving.

22 Questions from the Diceman
These are 22 questions the members of John Wesley's Holy Club asked themselves every day in their private devotions over 200 years ago.
Am I consciously or unconsciously creating the impression that I am better than I relly am? In other words, am I a hypocrite?
Am I honest in all my acts and words, or do I exaggerate?
Do I confidentially pass on to another what was told to me in confidence?
Can I be trusted?
Am I a slave to dress, friends, work, or habits?
Am I self-conscious, self-pitying, or self-justifying?
Did the Bible live in me today?
Do I give it time to speak to me everyday?
Am I enjoying prayer?
When did I last speak to someone else about my faith?
Do I pray about the money I spend?
Do I get to bed on time and get up on time?
Do I disobey God in anything?
Do I insist upon doing something about which my conscience is uneasy?
Am I defeated in any part of my life?
Am I jealous, impure, critical, irritable, touchy, or distrustful?
How do I spend my spare time?
Am I proud?
Do I thank God that I am not as other people, especially as the Pharisees who despised the publican?
Is there anyone whom I fear, dislike, disown, criticize, hold a resentment toward or disregard? If so, what am I doing about it?
Do I grumble or complain constantly?
Is Christ real to me?
